Shipping policy
4R SHIPPING INFORMATION | POLICY:
All 4Rivers meats are shipped frozen, fully cooked, vacuumed sealed in insulated packaging with ice packs. Cookbooks, sauces, rubs, and some gift packages are shipped ambient and can be stored at room temperature.
Frozen items should be partially frozen to refrigerator cold when delivered. Please place products in the fridge to thaw or back in the freezer until ready to eat.
You will find reheating instructions here as well as a QR code in each shipment. Please keep in mind that certain proteins could take up to 48 hours to fully thaw.
Packages are shipped daily Monday - Friday via UPS.
For UPS Overnight, orders must be placed by midnight on Sunday - Thursday.
Orders placed at the end of the week, may require shipping the following week, depending on product and carrier availability.
Delivery dates are based on the earliest possible date for recipient and local carrier parameters.
Most “UPS Ground” shipments will arrive within 1 to 5 business days (Monday - Friday) after your order is placed.
Shipping and handling charges are based on order specifics per recipient address and shipping method. Depending on what you order, your order may need to be shipped via “UPS 2 Day or UPS Overnight” to ensure safe arrival.
While there are many things we do to mitigate the risk of shipping fresh and frozen food around the country, there are unfortunately some things outside of our control like the weather and transit delays once the package is in the hands of selected carrier. As such, the shipping guidelines published on this website are not guarantees of a shipping or arrival date. If you are placing an order for a time-sensitive event, we recommend placing your order early and scheduling it to arrive 2+ days before your event. A majority of our products can be frozen or refrigerated upon arrival to preserve freshness.
